I'm a retired project administrator and a life-long creator. My latest project is fused glass. The project started with the idea of replicating a fish-shaped spoon holder I've had for 10 years. Never having done fused glass before there was a not-to-steep learning curve with a couple of classes, lots of YouTube videos, and wonderful support from Dive Into Color here in Napa and Bullseye Glass in Emeryville. I found an industrial glass cutter with kilns in San Mateo, and with copious amounts of research I learned how to make rigid molds out of furnace insulation fabric.
