Classes range from two-hour sessions to full-day workshops

​Design your program to fit your group.

• All classes include a break for refreshments.
• Refreshments to be provided by you, or Jessel Gallery can provide catering for an additional fee.​

Classes can be held on-site or off-site at Jessel Gallery

• This is not a paint-by-numbers class. Artwork is personalized and unique.
• Hands-on individualized teaching by Jessel Miller. Class aides provided as necessary based on group size. 
• This experience is creative and educational as well as relaxing and re-energizing.
• Jessel Gallery provides all project supplies.
• Each student leaves with a completed piece of art.
  

Attendance & Booking

Attendance minimum: 10 students

• Class fee calculated per attendee. Cost may increase based on travel distance and larger groups (over 20 students). Minimum attendance required.
• Non-refundable deposit of 50% due at booking. Balance due the day of the event.
• Class should be booked at least a month in advance. If needed sooner, please call the gallery for availability.

​This class walked over from Vichy School, just a few blocks away, to do a Swoosh Class with Susan Loomis, John Roos, Gay Sherman, and me.
25 kids and it was so much fun for us and, as I have heard, for them as well. The parents were a great help and assisted with lining up the kids and supporting the team.

Class Holiday Celebration

All these lovely ladies came to celebrate with me and together we "Zenned out" (Zenning Out, a deeper form of zoning out. In zoning out, you become absorbed with your own thoughts and inner world) painting for 2 hours. Fabulous food, fun, and lots of laughter was had by all.

Google, YouTube and Fine Art at William Hill Estate Winery

This was a first super large group for the Jessel Gallery Team (and me!) and we loved the whole experience. The set up and break down, though intense and time-consuming, worked perfectly and everyone in the team did a fantastic job supporting their table of between 9 and 12 people. The students were wonderful. Everyone jumped into the concept and developed some lovely, exciting, and unusual pieces, including Marsoud who went out into space and developed his own concept. William Hill Estates provided the most beautiful, organized, and professional location and staff for us. A big shout out to Alex and Juan who bent over backwards to support the vision. Another round of applause goes to RMC and Mona who organized this event and embraced this unique idea combining wine tasting and a fine art workshop in the most elegant setting. The weather was perfect and the view...spectacular. THANKS TO ALL OF MY Team, William Hill Estates RMC Corporate Travel & GOOGLE/ YOUTUBE STUDENTS for a brilliant afternoon of creativity in the most relaxing setting.

A Night of Celebration

Wendi and Ernie are my students and as a gift to their entire family visiting the valley they decided to surprise them with a class on my rooftop. WHAT A JOY and what a great time we all had. Everyone jumped in (many who had not painted since childhood) and the results were fantastic. Bravo to all!

Canadian Solar at Shadybrook

This was a group from a company called Canadian Solar. Once again Shadybrook Estates hosted this company and did a wonderful job.
Part of the group had a couple of hours painting while the other half of the group had a 1/2 horseback rides. It was a gorgeous day and everyone jumped in and did lovely little paintings.

A Magical Night in St. Helena

This was a magical night in St. Helena, CA. After teaching a morning class to 14 students I gathered my equipment and traveled up valley to the home of 2 students of mine. Andreas and Lisa and their son George have all taken classes from me. What amazes me most teaching new people is the fact that they are willing to jump in and create images that are so exciting with little or no training. I gave a tiny lesson in the medium and then for the next 2 hours this family just focused on their pieces. What a blessing this night was for me!

A Corporate Incentive to Inspire

​This was a wonderful day in a gorgeous setting with a group of six enthusiastic participants. RMC is the destination company that connected us to this Corporate Incentive Event. Shadybrook Estate Winery offers horseback riding, wine tasting, private events and today a painting class on the lawn.  Six attendees allowed me to teach them (in a very short time) how to create a landscape of the surrounding views disregarding reality. They let the colors and energy come from within flow on the paper and the results were astonishing!

The WOW Moment

Daniel M. Ha is the President and Founder of DMH Napa Valley. This destination management agency designs unique experiences for their clients. We were the ”Wow Moment Painting Class” experience.  Daniel organized this wonderful group of CEOs and their spouses from Texas who vacation together as a group in new places each year.  This year their final destination was the glorious Napa Valley. Jessel and her assistant Joy West spent two hours teaching this group how to work in watercolors and the results were splendid!  Here is the class picture plus the images of the work they did on location at the event in a private estate they resided in Calistoga.
