A Train to Nowhere is the sequel to Trains to Concordia in which Charley O’Brien and Christina Batachi, whom he hopes to marry, stow away in a boxcar heading West. Planning to finally become independent, they encounter the unexpected and must overcome nature and frontier-toughened men. Jennie O’Brien struggles to break free from the social confines of being financially privileged and embraces the cause of women’s emancipation.
