First, I am not Irish yet somehow I feel so lucky in so many ways just living in the Napa Valley and being surrounded by the beauty and grace of this magnificent location. Every day visitors from around the country and the world stop in and I get to be their welcome wagon and introduce them to my wonderful artists. I also act as a mini Concierge and tell visitors about all the amazing place they need to visit.
My team including John Stemmer, Joy West, Marcia Garcia, Ryan Miller, Gary Miller and Nouria Harris are in rhythm with the energy that flows through our doors. I wake up every day and thank the universe for the opportunities I am blessed with in simply spending my hours doing the thing I love…Living Creatively.

 | The Bohemian Magazine, which focuses on supporting so many businesses in the Napa and Sonoma Valley, has honored me with the ”BEST GALLERY in the NAPA VALLEY AWARD 2017” (for the second year in a row!) The public votes for the winners and this is their quote: |

I am thrilled to be recognized and voted best gallery and even more thrilled to know the time I put into the support of my guests and community is appreciated. One never knows whose life is touched by one's efforts and this award validates the Jessel Gallery and my loving Team.
The second sweet acknowledgement came from the Napa Library. I submitted a piece of artwork to a competition to be on an upcoming Library Card and my piece was chosen along with 4 other pieces. The painting is from one of my books called Mustard - Journey to Love and the page is titled “To Read is to Grow”.
I will be donating a framed image to the Library. I love the Napa Library and truly believe that the written word can transform lives. The letters I have received from people who have been affected by my books inspire me to keep writing.
