1. We all see through the filter of our life experiences and our likes and dislikes. 2. I ask that there be NO JUDGEMENT through the process. I find that when I do the what I call the Big Reveal” at the end of the class students really like their pieces. 3. There is no right or wrong way to paint an image, Just your way. 4. Watercolors teach the painter the process of going from light to dark and allowing the layers to waft through which is exactly the opposite way Oil or Acrylic painters work. It is the perfect medium to learn color and the blending techniques can be translated to any medium once learned. |
